We introduce ourselves as Indoco Remedies Limited, one of the India's fastest growing pharmaceutical companies which is the flagship Company of SURESH KARE ENTERPRISES.
Indoco has 3 plants, which manufacture pharmaceutical formulations in various therapeutic groups, spread across the states of Maharashtra & Goa in Western India. The company's parent manufacturing facility is located at Andheri in Mumbai.
Of the two facilities in Goa - one is for tablets, liquids and ointments and the second facility is exclusively for injectables and ophthalmic products. Both these facilities are of global standards and are built in line with the MCA- UK guidelines and comply with WHO GMP requirements. The tablets facility has been approved by MCA-UK; the injectables facility will be audited by End 2004. Both the plants of M/s. Indoco Remedies Limited situated in Verna-Goa won this year's prestigious Quality Excellence Awards of Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association. The Solid Dosage Forms and Externals Facility received the Gold Medal while the Sterile Facility for Injectables and Ophthalmics won the Silver Medal. This is a prestigious award in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.
The injectables facility became operational in the first half of 2002, and is a State-of-Art facility and among its notable features are its Modular design, Sophisticated Internal Environment Monitoring System and Contamination Control System.
Indoco has a large marketing & distribution network with a field staff of over 800 & 1400 stockists spread across India & Nepal. ORG, an independent market research agency, ranks Indoco 21st in India in terms of Prescription Audit.
Indoco manufactures a wide range of products in various therapeutic segments such as antispasmodics, anticold preparations, cough syrups, antifungals, NSAIDs, antiinfectives, antibiotics, antituberculars, antimalarials, etc.
The Research & Development Department is approved by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, a Government of India undertaking. The newly established R&D Centre at Andheri, Mumbai, which is the Company’s pride, is manned by formulation and analytical scientists and has the most sophisticated instruments.
Indoco’s products, apart from being largely prescribed by the domestic medical fraternity, are welcomed in many international markets for their quality and efficacy. We export our branded formulations to several Asian and African countries.
